I have pre payment meters for both, which is a huge pain in the arse, as I pay more doing it that way and the machines to top up the cards round here are never working.
Just rang and arranged to have my electric meter swapped back to normal meter, and have also switched my gas supply to be with them too, and once it is switched they are also going to change that meter to a normal one.
Am slightly nervous of having a bill to pay, but they am going to pay monthly by DD for the 2, which will apparently save me £80 a year.
No more having to go from shop to shop trying to top up my card.
