Big confusion please help

Hey mums!
So I sent off for income support last weekend and on Wednesday received a payment of £82.
I've just got my letter saying from the 21st September I will be entitled to £57 a week paid fortnightly on a Wednesday.
I'm just confused as to why I got a random pay of £82 and when my next payment will be?

Isn't child benefit £82 per 4 weeks?

I'm not sure I can't claim that until the baby is here,
I get income support which is every 2 weeks but the letter said from the 21st I will get it every 2 weeks so was just wondering when I'd be paid

You will have got just over a weeks payment, dating from when you filled in the forms. Next payment will be £114 a fortnight after the last payment.
