Income support help

Hey mums.
I am 30 weeks pregnant and just got my first payment for income support,
I have not yet received my letter so do not know how much I am entitled to but the payment was of £82.
I got told you get paid fortnightly and would get at least £50-£70 a week so surely £82 is too little?
Or is this what I will get a week and it's just been paid like that to start with?

any help would be great thank you

I think you are paid a week behind. Or you used to be. When did you put in the form? Could it be a payment for one week and a day for example

I sent off for my claim last week, was just confused wether the £82 I'd get fortnightly as that's when you get paid income support or if it was just a start off payment kind of thing

It will just be a start payment to see you through. I would be quite surprised if they have even looked at your claim properly.

Income support is a set amount so if you google it you will find out how muvh you will receive.
