Considering going down this route and wondering if anyone here already has a debt management plan through cccs? I'd really like to pick your brains if possible.

But the CAB can write to your creditors and make them back off a bit - and dthey are free. They can work out that you pay X amount to a,b,c and d people, adn you then stick to it.

Debt services charge you.

CCCS don't charhe, they are a registered charity.
We've been using them for 3 years or so now. Still have about 7 years left of repayments.

burstingwithminicremeeggs · 08/04/2007 12:15

meant to read 'don't charge'!

schnapps · 08/04/2007 12:17

Thanks. Yes cccs is a charity, comepletely free of charge. I was confused at the mention of 3 years cos my report said it would take 10 years to pay mine off

I think CCCS or Payplan are regarded as good bets. Perhaps worth a look over on The Motley Fool as well.
