Yes I think you would be fighting a losing battle. Even in the "nicer" MLMs such as Body Shop at Home they're still cutthroat. They appear all nice and ethical and earth friendly to he outside world and customers but underneath they are just run by ruthless sales people. That's why I left as I wasn't willing to sell my soul and do constanr parties and recruit everyone therefore I wasn't lucrative for them so they were not interested in me.
I did stay in a customer group as I liked being able to still get offers but I've left the group now as I can get what I want from the shop. The final straw was a post in the group asking if "you or someone you know has run out of money this summer and struggling to buy school uniform" then offering a job that can pay £50+ per week. It's not even a job FFS. And it missed out the part that you would need £45 to join (or at least that's what it cost when I joined) so you'd need to sell £400 of stuff before you made back your £45 and had the £50 earnings quoted.
