!!! Was it Lean Java Bean or Xerveo? (Congrats on the baby, btw)

cozietoesie · 03/09/2017 13:43

I thought the initial 'legal' limit was lower than £400 - £299 or even £199?

MrsGotobed · 03/09/2017 13:51

Wow! I've missed loads.

I've just been away to a wedding (thankfully no hairdryer disaster to stop me). It was a wedding with no gift list as the couple have lived together for a few years but the couple asked for money instead (think this is the norm these days _ non-UK wedding if it makes a difference).
I thought of you all when a fellow guest said that she'd given them a voucher for Forever Living!!! Bet the bride and groom were chuffed with that ... not!! Said guest then went on to tell DP how drinking aloe would cure his sinus problems. Thankfully he's had to listen to me rant on about MLMs so was prepared.

SSDGM · 03/09/2017 13:53

It's £200 within the first 7 days

cozietoesie · 03/09/2017 13:55

Ah. So an initial payment of £400 is a bit.........dodgy? Grin

ememem84 · 03/09/2017 14:32

Slim roast coffee. I didn't know there was a limit on initial spends. That said she is also offering juice too. So maybe it's a double.

Either way. Not interested. While on mat leave I'm going to try and "scam" family and friends into babysitting while so I can nap/rest/gym whatever. Not sell them "magic" coffee.

Thanks for the baby congrats. I've hit that preggo stage now where I'm just so over the novelty of baby kicking and being preggo.

darceybussell · 03/09/2017 14:38

Unfortunately that one is illegal in the U.K. em so you've had a lucky escape!

Twinkle7 · 03/09/2017 14:38

I've come to the realisation that just like mega brow bot, these women are in desperate times. They have to keep up the constant hard sell or its game over. Look at brow bots track record for the constant hard sell and then bullying recruits who don't adorn her with attention and "tell me I'm beautiful" comments. Reminds me of Donald Trump😂😂 narcissistic, self obsessed, ego so big its painful, a base of deluded idiots who would praise you for having a shit in front of them. Self delusion starts at the FLP door Huns!!!😂😂😂

ememem84 · 03/09/2017 14:41

darcey why is it illegal? (Aside from ridiculous claims...)

I'm not technically uk -in Channel Islands which are british isles but not part of the uk. So maybe that's how she's got around it.

Am tempted to mention it to her though...but don't want engage

SSDGM · 03/09/2017 14:58

If it's Valentus Slim roast coffee it's been declared an illegal product by Trading Standards. Illegal packaging and untested ingredients making unsubstantiated health and weight loss claims. Also viewed as a pyramid scheme as if they can't sell product but still recruit that's exactly what it is.

I'm also 10 days into a 2 week trial of the stuff to see if it works. Clue: it doesn't. And it tastes disgusting.

BSintolerant · 03/09/2017 15:25

Has someone reported the Eyebrowattollah's outburst to FLP head office? What will Sexy Rexy and the family think? Grin

MrsGotobed · 03/09/2017 15:39

Why haven't any of the victims of the bullying within FL blown the whistle on her? (Or, maybe they have but it's not acted upon by those perched higher up the pyramid??)

Are they not believed or are they accused of being bitter neg-heads or haters?

Spongebobette · 03/09/2017 15:41

We need a new Thread soon!

Twinkle7 · 03/09/2017 15:53

As far as I'm aware, yes she's been reported!! Let's hope something happens as her behaviour has been beyond appalling. If I had been that woman she trolled I'd of reported her to the police for incitement of hate/Malicious content and openly encouraging a malicious campaign based on absolute fuck all. What browbot has done is mental. You cannot be OK in the head to behaviour towards another in the way she has with no provocation. It's disturbing, damaging and down right fucked up

BSintolerant · 03/09/2017 15:59

It's classic narcissism.

Twinkle7 · 03/09/2017 16:11

Isn't it just. When you read up on narcissistic individuals "BB" is a classic example. Incredibly sad really. It must be exhausting to need constant attention, to need random people to tell you constantly that you are amazing, beautiful etc. In reality no amount of false lashes, painted on eyebrows or pink hair will cover the ugly bitter twisted nastiness inside that individual. It's ingrained!! Further fuelled by the tragic mindset shite from FLP. Fucking hell, what a way to be and be seen!!!

TheRealBarnbot · 03/09/2017 16:11

Nothing will get done by head office. This is why they all behave how they want! Two rule books! They will take the account of someone who has been bullied before they do anything about the disgraceful behaviour of brow and uber bot! Its why so many good people left, sick of the 2 rule books. They all have their sideline incomes rinsing their downline yet cause a fuss if anyone else dare do anything else. The final straw for me was seeing the top top top bot, who I'd always looked up to, behave like a classroom bully to my 2 upline because they dared to start their own business. Nail in coffin for me

ememem84 · 03/09/2017 16:19

Yes it's Valentus slim roast.

Apparently according to her fb you can lose up to 2lb a week without dieting or exercise. It's perfect for busy mums apparently and will really help me lose the baby weight. Another nice marketing tactic there - I've pointed out that I have a very good diet and actually haven't put on much weight at all (not a stealth boast). So I'll be fine.

I've asked what's in it. She can't tell me. I've asked how much she's lost since using it. She won't say. I've been told to check out the testimonials on her page (strangely or not strangely as it's been banned in the uk all from the US).

Twinkle7 · 03/09/2017 16:33

The fact this thread has attracted so much attention on one horrible person speaks volumes. BB hasn't done herself any favours. She may have deleted the post from her fb page but the true reality of FLP and of her will remain on the internet for all to see!!! People need to continue to complain, to take action, not just against vile insidious women like browbot but to continue to raise awareness of how mentally destructive pyramid schemes like FLP are. Brow bot is a very real, sad and damaged example of what mlms do to people!! Obviously hasn't helped she wasn't a nice person to begin with!!

fitgirl26 · 03/09/2017 16:37

Just ask her why the NHS aren't all over it if you can lose weight without changing diet or exercise...

rayofhope2 · 03/09/2017 16:53

Barnbot heaven forbid your upline start a new business, but then that would take income away from uberbot.

I can remember being told that it's all smoke and mirrors, that a few of the top ones were renting their houses but making out they bought them (obviously we all know about castlebot) but I was also told others did it too.

One of my upline pulled back a bit due to personal circumstances, none of her 'good friends' in her upline checked to see how she was, after all she wasn't earning them as much then.

You're also not told everything about what you need to do once you hit manager. You still need to keep building and having new people coming in each month to qualify for CB. Got to be consistent with recruiting or it's never going to happen.......

BSintolerant · 03/09/2017 17:23

barnbot that doesn't surprise me. Did your uplines leave FL after they were bullied for starting their own businesses? Or are they quietly digging tunnels?

Are bots with their own businesses encouraged to give them up by the top bots? It's all so bloody culty isn't it?

Cakietea · 03/09/2017 18:33

Urgh Browbot is an odious woman.

Was so funny that time she decided that she was an anti bullying crusader and made a video to be shown to school children, got a school agree to show it, posted positive feedback from students - all in the space of a Sunday evening 😂

Of course schools let any Tom Dickhead or Harry show videos to their students without any safeguarding checks or checking of professional qualifications. Grin

DoratheExplorer17 · 03/09/2017 18:36

Brow and Uber are the worst bullies of all. And it all stems from a huge paranoia brought on by MLM and the whole poaching culture and the fact that they could actually lose their income at any time if enough people decided to leave. They will do absolutely anything to make sure people don't try and take away their income which includes major bully tactics!
