Remortgaging while pregnant

On a two-year deal, but hoping to be pregnant when we need to fix it again. Do mortgage companies ask? Does it matter? Mortgage is based only on my salary. How would any woman be able to remortgage for several years (given maternity leave etc) if they don't allow? Thanks

I've remortgaged on maternity leave before, no problems. They took my salary as my usual salary not mat leave pay.

Oh thanks. I definitely don't want to mislead them, but wasn't sure if it would concern them. I haven't remortgaged before so wasn't sure how much they ask.
