Do i qualify for Maternity Pay??

Can anyone make sense of this?Confused

I have been with my employer for around 3 years, it's my 2nd employer. I know I can earn Maternity Pay from both employers as long as I meet the qualifying requirements.

From government website;

"you earn at least £113 per week (April 2017 – April 2018) on average in the eight weeks (if you are paid weekly) or two months, £452 (if you are paid monthly) up to the last pay day before the end of the 15th week before your baby is due"

I earn roughly £400-£460 month.

So my due date is February 12th and my qualifying week (15 weeks before due date) is 30th October. The end of this week would be 5th November.

The two paydays before the November 5th would be 31st October and 30th September.

So my question is...is it October and September paydays that I need to earn £452+ to qualify or will it be August and September? If its August I definitely won't qualify Sad

Can anyone shed some light on this.

From what you've posted it should be Sept and Oct.

I thought I was just wishful thinking as my pay at the end of this month will be rubbish.

From that, would u say i would just need to earn £452 in them 2 months or upto maternity leave?

Just those 2 months - £452 in September, £452 in October.
