Refund

This is a long shot but worth asking. We have a holiday booked for Feb of next year and are paying off a bit each month. We paid a bit extra last month as something else was cancelled so thought we had it to spare.

Fast forward a week and we realised we didn't, where do I stand asking British airways for a refund of the money I paid last week? The deposit has already been paid in full and the remaining balance isn't due until Jan 18. Any chance?

It's always worth asking nicely, why wouldn't you? But I think the answer will probably be no, I dont suppose they'd even have a way to do it but you never know

I doubt they have a process to cope with partial refunds of something you aren't cancelling - I'd be wary of trying in case they accidentally cancelled the whole payment arrangement?

Sorry that's not much help - would also urge you to try to build up a bit on spare money in bank, to avoid getting so close to running out.

Well we paid with a debit card so they could easily just refund it onto that but I doubt they will..

What did they say?

No they won't be able to refund you unfortunately
