maternity pay

I hope this is the right section to ask for help!
I am a private nanny and employed through my bosses company but am going on maternity leave at the end of August.

I gave her my mat b 1 form when I received it from the midwife. I saw its still on her desk today unopened in the envelope.

do I need you panic that my pay won't be sorted out in time? as iv done all I can

No. The MAT B1 is just a notification - it just gets filed once the info is recorded on the payroll system.

Mat pay is reasonably straightforward and the payroll software does all the calculations etc.

Just ask in passing if she has everything she needs to sort your mat pay as you're tying up loose ends.
