Does anyone have any idea how much a single part time working mother of one (me) would get in housing benefit if I earned about £1000 and my rent was approx £700? Please don't say call up and find out or something similar because if i could i would! I have done the online benefits calculator but just wondered if anyone in a similar situation was willing to share how much help they received. Thanks :)

Do you pay childcare as this also affects it?

I think I will be yes, the main after school club in the city charges £8.50 a day so say average £170 a month? I'm having to estimate everything rn sorry!

I dont know if anyone on here would be able to tell you. The benefit calculators online are your best source of information.

The LHA is different for each local authority - what you would receive would be totally different to what someone else with the same income but lives in a different part of the country.
