Oooh yes, stokebotwhatnot has (at last) locked his fb page down. Whilst I am sorry not to be able to watch this car crash page any further, I'm also pleased that he has seen sense in not broadcasting his desperate, disturbing and fake-success 'lifestye' to everyone, particularly those posts involving his very young children.

acatcalledjohn · 20/07/2017 07:24

@JaniceBattersby That is shocking! A mayor.

Cakietea · 20/07/2017 07:24

Oh no, just as someone pm'd me Sad

acatcalledjohn · 20/07/2017 07:43

He'll unlock it again. Bots occasionally flounce, but it's never permanent.

BSintolerant · 20/07/2017 11:06

So-called attraction marketing is hard to do with locked down social media pages. I've heard there's a Revenue spy in every bot's friends list. Grin

lasagnefortea · 20/07/2017 14:39

Stokeflatbot's profile lockdown isn't really working that well. Apparently he's got £2000 commission due next week - wonder if that'll go on his tax return? Here's what he posted in a Facebook group called "Work from Home UK". What is an 'autoship', by the way?

I have spaces for people with drive, who want to make 1-3k Pm average!
No products, No autoships, No sign up fee, No recruiting necessary! Weekly pay 💸
No brainer guys.. 1 week in 16 people joined and 2k up which will be paid next week!!
Don't delay comment today! I will message you Asap.. 😊

acatcalledjohn · 20/07/2017 14:50

An autoship is a standing order. A bit like signing up to something like fabletics and getting a monthly subscription delivery.

By all accounts they aren't easy to cancel.

lasagnefortea · 20/07/2017 14:58

The rules and fine print regarding MLMs are so hard to decipher. I was looking at the Senegence/LipSense compensation plan and couldn't really make much sense of it. I wonder how many Bots have any clue what they are getting into when they sign up for these companies?!

Spongebobette · 20/07/2017 15:36

Good god that Work from Home page is a non stop MLM stream of shite

OP posts:
lasagnefortea · 20/07/2017 17:18

The Work From Home UK Facebook page is the pits. All those incessant job adverts but very few people will even mention what the company or opportunity is. So shady!

DayToDayGlobalShit · 20/07/2017 22:13

Notice stokebot has put another post on work from home in. The ones asking for more info work for the same company. What con artists. Similar seen on my own bots pages. All the other teaamies pretending to want more info or are soooo super excited that they've placed an order

NikiBabe · 21/07/2017 02:58

Some comedy gold from my mlm friend.

Facebook post: huge announcement coming tonight stay tuned.

Then a few hours later a long video. A promotion for a free tube of cellulite gel when you buy the body wraps. I was blown away by the magnitude of this news.

Then came the prices.

The gel you get free is £80. Eighty bloody pounds for cellulite gel. She said it was useful for sunburn, insect bites also when the label dont use on irritated or sun exposed skin.

The product you have to buy to get the free gel costs £102. For 4 body wraps that are used every 3 days.

Then she recommended getting it on the loyal customer programme to get the wraps cheaper to get the £80 gel free.

Ok loyal customer means £50 membership fee. Minimum sign up of 3 months too. Then you still have to pay for the wraps at reduction of £61.20 and you have to buy minimum 1 per month for 3 months so thats £183.60 + £50 membership= £233.60.

So that's either £102 to get free gel.
Or via loyal customer £233.60 to get a crappy tube of gel with piss poor reviews.

Do people actually fall for this shit or think it is a good bargain?!

ScrewedUpLittleFace · 21/07/2017 08:09

Sounds like a bargain Niki

ScrewedUpLittleFace · 21/07/2017 15:33

It's Twunk here by the way. Fancied a change. 😂

acatcalledjohn · 21/07/2017 15:53

Must be the result of the out of date Yazoo...

Grin
cozietoesie · 21/07/2017 15:59

That brings something to mind, acat.

Do any of these products have expiration dates? (I'm imagining garages full of out of date products.)

ScrewedUpLittleFace · 21/07/2017 16:42

I wonder what Aloe Yazoo would be like?

cozietoesie · 21/07/2017 16:49

Dear Goodness. What a thought. Grin

miffytherabbit1974 · 21/07/2017 18:28

That's weird, because when I look at Stokeflatbot's FB profile, it is showing his old posts and his "entrepreneur" status? I wonder if its been changed back again...

miffytherabbit1974 · 21/07/2017 18:35

One of my Youneeeeeeeeeeeeeeek bots has just posted a very tragic promotion of the new, fabulous and utterly life-changing "Moodstruck EPIC Mascara", accompanied by a before-and-after photo of one normal looking eye and the other eye, which looks like it's been in a collision with a tarantula farm and a vat of treacle.

This, btw, is the same Youneeeeeeeeeeek bot who, over the last week, has been publicly frozen out by her Green Elite (or whatever) up-line, and now her life is pointless and empty.

Just another day in Bot-land.

ScrewedUpLittleFace · 21/07/2017 18:40

Why have they been frozen out? Do I need to read the fucking thread?

miffytherabbit1974 · 21/07/2017 18:47

I'm not sure why Youneeeeeeeeeeeek bot has been frozen out. There's so much blathering in her FB posts, and I'm not certain that the bot herself really knows. What I do know is that she's posting very passive-aggressive memes on to her timeline, like "I KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING ME" and stuff along the lines of "I am a fantastic #bossbabe and my up-line will suffer according to the 735 laws of Network Marketing."

ScrewedUpLittleFace · 21/07/2017 19:42

There are laws of network marketing?!

  1. thou shalt post a picture of a wine glass and your laptop in a garden - with the words "love my office"
  2. thou shalt buy all the overpriced crap to use for yourself so your upline receive their bonuses
user1495346531 · 21/07/2017 20:45

Browbot posted recently about how delighted she was to help a young woman looking to earn £10,000 towards her wedding, a photo of a scardey looking poor girl and her mum smiling hopefully. Yeah, right?
Poor kid.

cozietoesie · 21/07/2017 21:09

Poor kid indeed. I'm hoping that Mum has deep pockets. Sad
