Not at all Jonsey
Someone set up a thread pretending to be a friend of hers; she had let this friend down by not going to her wedding on a flimsy excuse of GHDs breaking. The bot has since removed the post she had on her page about this
It was not nice that someone impersonated her friend to create a thread; I'd call this person a troll because they did it to create a reaction. They were successful in provoking a reaction but Mumsnet were alerted to the deception. And deleted the thread.
Since then the bot in question has posted that she's been targeted by online bullies and has elicited sympathy on her page for being cyber bullied, without explaining the circumstances. She's received a lot of sympathy and her personal brand, which contains themes of 'overcoming bullying' etc, has been strengthened.
It's a shame that her minions are not more alert and aware, really, but when you sign up under one of these uberbots part of the package is a sort of hero worship.
