Child maintenance how much?

Long story, keep it brief. Looking at all options about whether I can manage on my own. Husband has DD from previous relationship, pays £250 a month through CSA. We have DS together, how would maintenance be worked out?

Would the maintenance be split between my DS & his DD? So £125 each? Or be worked out differently.

Are you talking about if you split from your husband?

If so, at a minimum I think the % of his income he has to pay out goes up slightly, then it's split between you and the mother of his other child.

If he was to have your DS overnight on a regular basis that would reduce the amount he needs to pay.

There are calculators online. Where you put in your details and it will give you a figure for the legal minimum.
