Hi

With childcare vouchers do they expire? I was wondering if I should get them now to save tax etc. but will not use them till next year at the soonest.

Thanks

They do have an expiry date, yes. I think mine last for 2 years.

Toomanycats99 · 12/06/2017 20:39

I think they have a while. You should also be able to get them refunded. I carried on getting mine during maternity to benefit from the tax free element. It may be 12 months

I collected with Eden red and there was no expiry date. Ask your provider for confirmation.

I go through Edenred and don't think they have an expiry

Moanyoldcow · 13/06/2017 00:07

You cannot get them refunded! Please don't overbuy on the basis you can have them refunded if you don't use them.

Refunds depend on your employer I think. Mine refund, but obviously you'd need to them pay the tax and ni.
