Setting up a trust

My dads probate will shortly be completed - he left money to myself, brother and the remaining third to be divided between the grandchildren in 2030. We need to set up a trust for this - does anyone have any advice on how to do this? Is it something we can do ourselves or are we best contacting a financial advisor?

Forgot to say it will be in region of 40k that would be invested in a trust so although a lot of money (to me!) we are not talking huge sums that I guess these are usually aimed at.
