Sell stuff

HebeJeebie · 20/05/2017 21:53

Try posting on chat, it's a bit busier there.

Are you employed? If you have a legitimate and unpredictable need then your employers may agree an advance on your salary.

AdoraBell · 20/05/2017 23:09

Agree with posting in Chat, if even Credit Crunch on the Frugaleers thread. Sell anything worth a bean and do extra work if time allows. Depends how quickly it's needed.

nannynick · 20/05/2017 23:12

Work overtime, take on a second job. Sell stuff you have.

There are no get money quick schemes. Money comes from working and trade.

idontknow6 · 20/05/2017 23:30

thanks i will probably post on chat. Though while we're here does anyone know what exactly is good to sell for decent money? I have tried selling clothes and not much success...

Vinyl records are having a comeback.

Gold, silver, diamonds, works of art.

Some DVD box sets but most things are pretty worthless. Some resellers like music magpie will buy bulk amounts but you may only get 50p per item.

Mobile phone, LCD TV, most recent electronics get something but it is variable.

nannynick · 21/05/2017 06:39

Also try Ziffit.com for bulk trade of CD/DVD/Console games.

PedantHere · 21/05/2017 06:51

If you have any Disney DVDs, at certain times you can sell certain ones for £50+.

Music instruments that you no longer use?

Any old antiques or even mid century furniture you no longer require?

Sell car and buy cheaper one?

Do you have any skills or talents you could use?
Tutoring/beauty/baking?
