Budgeting loan

Hi.
Has anyone applied for a Budgeting loan this year? Just wondering how long it takes to receive payment after you've sent off acceptance form.

Please tell me its not a "consolidation loan" by another name?
Nasty smelly things best avoided at all costs.

It's an interest free loan from the job centre which gets taken out directly from your benefits
