Anyone doing the ladbrokes Ajax - Man U offer (free bet if your bet loses and it's a draw after 90 mins)? Is it possible to make £ on this one?

louisejxxx · 23/05/2017 08:18

That does seem like quite a long shot titchy! I would see if it's on the OM forum if you're a member and see if anyone is taking up the offer on there.

domesticgoddesshaha · 23/05/2017 08:44

I would suggest having a punt on a correct score if you can find a close odds match and get a small QL then hope it results in a draw so you get money back.
There's probably a way to dutch it but that is beyond my understanding at this point!

Choconuts · 23/05/2017 09:52

I've found a really good blog which explains how to do offers like the ladbrokes one - it's matchedbettingblog.com - sorry I don't know how to do links Smile

louisejxxx · 23/05/2017 11:22

Oh wow that does look like a good find Choco ....now I know what I'm going to spend the afternoon reading!! Hoping the 2ups on PP are on there somewhere because that confuzzles me a bit as apparently it's all about when you cash out that makes you the profit??

MrsDesperado · 23/05/2017 11:35

Hello, I've been dipping in and out of these threads/lurking for a while. As I result I've done the coral and Betfred opening offers and have a nice £37 profit! I have some questions if anyone can help:

I did these offers using the oddsmatching software on PA; if I want to carry on doing more offers do I need to pay to join PA (or OM) or is there any software out there that is freely available?

To do the offers I stuck to UJ football matches because they're easy to understand(!)/familiar. What's everyone betting on now the season has ended?

Sorry if these questions have been answered a million times before Blush

MrsDesperado · 23/05/2017 11:36

Sorry that should say UK football

donajimena · 23/05/2017 12:35

Another one here who has dipped in and out of the threads. I'm currently on the odds monkey site and feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the info! I'm going to stick at it though...
My quick questions is do you have to be good with numbers? Or will it do it all for me? I have a slight learning disability. Thank you x

Question for anyone who's done the Sing Bingo sign up - where you get a free £5 to use on bingo. I did this earlier, made about £3, couldn't really be bothered trying to withdraw that, so had a couple of goes on slots and got lucky (£25). Now, the original fiver went straight into 'real money' as opposed to bonus funds, since I did the dragonfish thing of buying all the cards as quickly as possible, but I can't withdraw it until I make a deposit. Oddsmonkey guide says to deposit £20, but I can't find anywhere on Sing Bingo which says how much I need to deposit, only that the minimum to deposit is £5. I'm just a bit wary of depositing £20, even though I should get it back!

SierraJensen · 23/05/2017 13:41

Mrs there's still a bit of football left to bet on (e.g. Man U v Ajax tomorrow) and then the FA cup and Scottish cup this weekend. I'm also starting on horses, and over the summer there is tennis and golf. I'd recommend joining the team profit facebook group as they give some good pointers on things to bet on that won't flag you up as a matched bettor.

MrsDesperado · 23/05/2017 14:29

Thanks Sierra,
Does the team profit have oddsmatching software or is there anywhere else I can access this sort of software for free?

donajimena · 23/05/2017 14:30

I'm sorry to ask such a basic question so many pages/threads down the line but I get that you don't lose by putting on a back bet and a lay bet because you they cancel each other out so how do you actually make a profit? Is it by using your free bet?

SierraJensen · 23/05/2017 14:50

Mrs No there's no free oddsmatching software with teamprofit, although they do give you suggestions each week about matches that might work - and then you can manually check the odds and use their free calculator to work out how much to lay etc. I joined Oddsmonkey in the end for the oddsmatcher - it's fab! To start with I looked manually for the odds but now I have different filters set up on the Oddsmonkey matcher to save me time.

Dona yes, the back and lay pretty much cancel each other out (you'll make a very small qualifying loss) and then the profit comes from the free bet. If you get a free £10 bet from a bookie, you might be able to convert it into e.g. £7 of profit.

Mrs You can do a £1 trial of Oddsmonkey to see if it's for you - that's what I did and decided for me it was definitely going to be worth it.

HeyRoly · 23/05/2017 14:55

Exactly dona

You also make small profits when the back odds are higher than the lay odds.

ImCatbug · 23/05/2017 15:09

I've been following these threads for a while but only ventured into signing up and trying this yesterday. So far I think I'm doing okay, but I have a couple of questions:

I made a £10 bet on Betfred to trigger the free £30 bet, the tennis match I bet on was this morning at 9. So I should get the £30 free bet by Thursday morning, right?

On my betfair account it will not let me withdraw funds, it says I am not authorised, but I got an email from them this morning asking for a photo of a document to verify my address. Once this goes through (24-48 hours) I'll be allowed to withdraw, right? I have a fair amount in there for liability and don't want to lose it!

Also, am I correct in thinking that anything I win on the bookie sites I should keep in there for a while and use on rollover/refresh bets and not withdraw immediately as it looks suspicious?

MrsDesperado · 23/05/2017 15:45

Thank you sierra - I think I'll join it then!

Choconuts · 23/05/2017 16:31

I can recommend oddsmonkey as well - I've made £450 in my first month using them!

louisejxxx · 23/05/2017 17:56

Another one for oddsmonkey here - the community forum is invaluable as well.

donajimena · 23/05/2017 18:35

I'm still a bit confused though. Do I use the free bet in the same way? By doing a lay bet and a back bet?
I'm really sorry its not clicking with me I am very much a kinesthetic learner. I wish a mumsnetter could pop round to show me!

louisejxxx · 23/05/2017 18:50

Yes you do exactly the same, but with higher odds (usually between about 4 and 6) to maximise profits. That is what makes the profits guaranteed, rather than just doing a back bet and hoping it wins Smile

donajimena · 23/05/2017 19:13

Right its slowly sinking in! Just want to be 100% before I take the plunge :)

HeyRoly · 23/05/2017 19:41

Betfair gave me £5 bonus credit for slots yesterday. Did five £1 spins and won 45p. Today they gave me £5 for bingo slots (don't understand why they have slots in different sections but whatever), did the same, and won nothing.

45p out of a tenner!

I know certain slots pay out better than others. Guess I must be choosing badly.

FiveHoursSleep · 23/05/2017 19:58

Just got £61 from some free spins on Bonanza from William Hill.
Also some free bets from them. I'm going to get gubbed aren't I?
