Yes I did the coral one, think they said it would show up once the game is in play. 3pm kick off, I think.

HeyRoly · 21/05/2017 13:24

Let's compare notes on good matches then Smile I tend to look at the Correct Score markets in play, but there may well be better options out there.

domesticgoddesshaha · 21/05/2017 14:33

Hi all,
I've done the free 10 in play bet offer with skybet so need to keep eyes on what odds are like in play. Also have to lay via betfair as I've maxed out my smarkets balance laying price boost arbs this morning.
I've never done in play and I'm guessing odds change fast, eek.

Ladbrokes offers both appeared on a banner at the top of the screen for me, but the acca boost was only for first 5k bets so may have gone now.

I'm 16 days in and profit looking good despite having a slow week this week while waiting for my new bank ac card to arrive. Once that's sorted I'll get back on the welcome offers again. Hoping to lose all my bets at the bookies today as otherswise my exchange balances are going to be rinsed well and truly dry.
Did 5 2nd place refund racing offers yesterday and picked 3 winners although non were favourites, grrr. No refunds either!

domesticgoddesshaha · 21/05/2017 14:36

Oh, and check email, I've just had a reload from will hill, bet £10 and get 3x £5 free bets.

SierraJensen · 21/05/2017 14:56

I think it's best to do the in play at half time so that the odds settle for a few mins - that's what I did with the bet victor offer the other day. I need to use smarkets as I have 12p left in betfair! Not much in smarkets either but I suppose I can deposit if need be.

HeyRoly I found correct score the best when I used bet victor - was also planning on trying that again too.

HeyRoly · 21/05/2017 16:08

Ugh, you can't cash out at Smarkets can you? I did my in play bet at Coral, a fairly poor match but not terrible. The lay odds had been steadily climbing and then they plummeted as soon as I placed it.

louisejxxx · 21/05/2017 17:53

My coral inplay bet was a bit of a disaster so think I ended up making about 50p from it (odds changed and then just kept on going up so my stake was only partially matched)...tried to sort it out but the odds just kept on soaring so in the end I just cashed out to limit the damage.

SierraJensen · 21/05/2017 18:03

My inplay bet wasn't great either - tried to do it early on because DD was having a nap but the odds were moving too quickly and not in my favour! Made a couple of pounds but better than nothing.

MissFitton · 21/05/2017 19:10

My in play bets didn't go too badly this afternoon - £15 of free bets got me just over £10 profit so I'm happy with that. It was rather stressful though!

HeyRoly · 21/05/2017 20:13

Sky Vegas are giving away free 50p Tipping Point scratch cards. Can someone else take a look, because I've clicked Opt In, loaded up the scratchcard, but can see no evidence of free credit anywhere. If I start the thing I just know it'll take my own money. Done that before!

louisejxxx · 21/05/2017 20:14

I did it earlier - you have to actually go on the scratchcard and change the stake from £1 to 50p, then it'll pop up.

OverthinkingSpartacus · 21/05/2017 21:13

@Heyroly, yes you can cash out on smartest , it's just not as obvious if you're used to the betfair interface. I spent a good half hour hour trying to figure it out before giving up and asking in Odds Monkey.

You need to click the event, so if you wanted to cash out for today's arsenal match you need to click on the arsenals vs whatever and then scroll to the market you laid on, so if it's laid against arsenal there will will be a green circle arrow thing with TO (Trade Out) in the middle. Hut that, then confirm. It's like betfair though in that all your other lays against arsenal for other offers will also cash out.

Hope everyone's made a good amount with the 10 premier league matches today.

I had a free £10 Ladbrokes bet to use inplay in Watford match, you can place the free bets before kickoff and it's what I like to do but I've been unwell so never got to laptop til after kickoff, odds woukd have only given me 50p profit so I thought fuck it and punted it on team with highest odds. I've read this might might be a good thing as no matched better would use a free bet on odds that would have them with liabilities of 500 for the sake of 50p profit so :)

Paddy Power two ups have given me £20 profit. I had only chosen two matches as the odds every time I've looked were too high of a potential loss for what's not a guaranteed profit. Watching the scores though, those who took gamble will have made a lot of money if the picked correct team, as most of the matches went two up.

Three of my accas finish today. £28 profit from the dabblebet risk free one, free £20 bet from William hill one. £7 profit from Coral one and my Ladbrokes one finished on Wednesday but ATM the moment it's giving me at least £5 profit. So about £60-£70 for today. This whole week has been my best by far, haven't tallied it all up but I reckon It's about £200 profit for the week.

Really wish I'd tried accumulators at the start, they are not as scary as I thought and less stressful than the horses in my opinion. I'm thinking of doing a couple with foreign teams and/or horses. I was thinking of maybe one a week per bookie.

OverthinkingSpartacus · 21/05/2017 21:23

Louise, you'd have had to wager £2.50 before the bonus scratch are turns to bonus funds, so you'd have had to spend that 50p you won anyway. I hate tipping point, it's so fucking frustratingly slow and pays out shit. I won £1 so I changed stake to £1 for the wagering and got one token to drop in, whereas when I play with 50p stakes on previous offers I get about 7-10 tokens lol.

This might be a stupid idea but is anyone up for a what's app group where we can post close matches for various offers etc? I was thinking it'd be quicker than posting here as people will be get message and can act within minutes before odds change? I usually get my close matches from the oddsmonkey thread but unless you're checking every five mins you can miss good matches.

Anyone who's interested just PM me your mobile number and I'll make a mumsnetter matched betting group :)

HeyRoly · 21/05/2017 22:04

I really need to get my head around accas before the football season starts up again.

Confession: I've done two accas this week and haven't laid them. One with a free £10 and one with my own £10. I chose teams with very short odds and I was lucky they all won. Nice to see some profit in an otherwise rubbish week for reloads.

imnottoofussed · 21/05/2017 22:09

888 sport has bet £5 and get £10 free bet today and also £5 casino bonus

wohmum · 21/05/2017 23:41

i did the betfair 3 x 10 free spins yesterday but now I can't find my free spins for today - anyone got ideas?

OverthinkingSpartacus · 21/05/2017 23:54

Wohum do you mean the trophy cup thing? if you back into the promo page it should say your progress there, Once the ten spins have been completed it changes to say you've finished and if you click eligible games it'll show the ones for free spins, loading them up should show the free spins.

I did the qualifying spins yesterday morning but didn't have time to do free ones, and that's what I did this morning.

muddlingalong17 · 22/05/2017 11:46

Hello. My partner is going to try this. He already has accounts with ladbrokes and one other (paddypower) because over the years he has put an online bet on here and there for big football matches or grand national.

Could he just use these existing accounts or is he best to start off with new accounts with different bookmakers.

Also - I saw somewhere a message about opening a brand new bank account. Is that essential or could he just use an existing one (although not our main current account).

He is going to have a good read through all this and have a try .

Any suggestions, advice welcome.
Thanks

HeyRoly · 22/05/2017 14:21

He should join Oddsmonkey muddling. The tutorials are excellent.

The profit comes out of free bets and that's why it's good to open new bookie accounts. You still get bonuses from existing accounts though, so he can use his Ladbrokes and PP accounts as well.

I don't think it's necessary to open another bank account when he already has a separate bank account to his current account.

Choconuts · 22/05/2017 21:11

The WhatsApp group sounds like a great idea overthinking - how do you send a pm?

louisejxxx · 22/05/2017 21:35

Finally got around to getting enough money into smarkets in order for me to sign up to paddy power and place my qualifying bet tonight 😬

RealHousewifeOfPontypandy · 22/05/2017 23:07

Marking place 👍🏻

HollySykes · 22/05/2017 23:51

Agree, I like the what's app idea.

louisejxxx · 23/05/2017 06:13

Spartacus did you get my pm?

louisejxxx · 23/05/2017 06:59

I've just done a couple of mug bets on the Europa league final tomorrow with William hill and Coral because it seems like a muggish to do. I gave WH a bit of a hammering over the weekend and then had £25 of free bets from them yesterday so I feel like I need to give a bit back Blush
