I might take things slowly until I see what comes back from these ACCAs, I understand the premise I think but I want to see how they pan out.

What method are people using for ACCAs?

MaidOfStars · 14/05/2017 10:02

I've just seen the racing tool on oddsmonkey
I could kiss you. It's fab!

Choconuts · 14/05/2017 10:33

I need to start branching out to horses but I'm not sure I understand.

So with the racing matcher do we just do a few with the assumption that we should get enough refunds over time to counteract our qualifying loss and make a profit?

Thanks everyone Smile

I can't find karaoke slots on Betfred, I've got my £5 free bet but even when I search there are no karaoke slots listed.

louisejxxx · 14/05/2017 10:50

Are you searching on the gaming/casino part of the site? (Sorry to state the obvious if yes - just struggling to figure out why it wouldn't show up!)

TessTube · 14/05/2017 10:57

Isn't it though Maid, it even shows you the offer. Can't believe I've not been using it!

TessTube · 14/05/2017 10:57

Holly it's called Karaoke Party and it's under Games and comes up if you search.

TessTube · 14/05/2017 10:59

Choco that's as I understand it, with the second place refunds a lot of people go for the favourite and hope it has a bad day, and keep the qualifying loss as low as you can.

Hamiltoes · 14/05/2017 11:01

Tess I use the "refund lock in" method for Accas, I've done about x6 £50 accas with WH and they've each returned an average of £10.

I've started looking out for potential opportunities on the other sites but none of them hold value for the refund lock in method even close to WH. You're talking averages of £2/3/4 for Coral and Lads etc.

When the football seasons starts I'm half thinking of using a Thursday night to completely plan out an Acca strategy for the week ahead. So using larely the same teams across lots of different sites to have about 10/15 Accas running over the coming week. X2 from WH @£10 + X8 @£2.50 = £40 profit with a little bit of planning and some phone alarm reminders for when to lay.

Thats what I'm really concentrating on now is getting a system in place that will make this sustainable. It can be done and I reckon Accas will give you the best chance of keeping accounts open the longest since they represent such poor value to the bookies and are more likely to lose into the exchange.

The refund lock in method works because we are guarenteed a free bet if one team lets us down. If all teams win we have underlayed and so our profit is in the bookies. If 1 team lets you down you win 1 lay bet and then have a £50 free bet to convert. If x2 teams let you down you have won x2 lay bets and there is your profit. Try it a couple of times with £5 stakes and really analyise what you have done until you are comfortable with the maths behind the method. I can do them almost without thinking now and have a note in my phone for everything i need to lay that day and the times. I have my Accas saved in PA and just check them off after each game has been won/ lost.

Hamiltoes · 14/05/2017 11:04

Sorry, Accas represent such poor value to the punter, not the bookies Blush

HollySykes · 14/05/2017 11:10

Nope Karaoke party not coming up in a search of Betfred, I've even tried a different browser. Maybe it was only there last night.

TessTube · 14/05/2017 11:41

Thanks Hamiltoes brilliant advice.

I've got 2 on the lay all method so I'll see how these pan out - I've been given a max loss of about 5-6 pounds on each, so I'll work through and see how they go.

HappyAxolotl · 14/05/2017 14:27

Yay - got a win at Betfair on the Crystal Palace game so got my liability back. Promptly stuck it on the Man U match. Also got West Ham v Liverpool to watch as well.

I feel sorry for Hull though.

zebrano · 14/05/2017 15:00

So I've done my first two rollover bonuses this weekend and been jammy enough for both the lay bets at betfair to win - so no wagering needed! The Betway was particularly good as it was bet £50 get £50 bonus.. so about £45 profit straight into the exchange with no hassle.

I know if i do a third one the law of probability would suggest that it'll win in the bookies, but I don't really mind as I would like to get a bit of practice in wagering.

I've also done a mug bet at ladbrokes, might do another at WH as they are the only ones so far to offer me reloads.

louisejxxx · 14/05/2017 15:10

I felt bad for hull as well but not too bad because I'd bet on under 2.5 goals to be scored so my money has moved to the exchange! Managed to get lowers odds when laying that when backing on the 2nd in play bet (liverpool) for betfred so my QL will be tiny.

Now I just need to remember to use my free £10 bet on the game later!!

myheadsamess · 14/05/2017 15:45

Am so way behind you guys. Have been lurking on the other 2 threads and taking it slowly as didn't really have much to stick into Betfair at the start. I think my profit is about £85 for 2 weeks which I'm happy about although its taken bloody hrs as am worried I get it wrong!
Are most of you working through all PA sports offers before starting on the reloads or trying to do both together? I think I've reached the point where the offers they have are more complicated or require a bigger stake/liability which I cant do right now.

Can I ask a couple of questions though of those of you in the know please?
Re the unibet free £30 - I cannot work out for the life of me how much I have made from this (am being stupidly stupid having looked at it for so long).
I back bet £30 on Juventus v Monaco which lost so I gained £23.17 in the exchange.
I then received my free £30 which I back bet on Lyon V Ajax. This won giving me a new total in unibet of £50.40.
I then placed a back bet £30 on Bournemouth V Burnley which lost so gained £29.61 in the exchange.
I then placed my remaining £20.40 back bet on Crystal V Hull which lost giving me a further £20.68 in the exchange.

I reckon I'm about £20 ish up from this offer but not sure enough of my method and want to keep my spreadsheet correct if I can (so I can prove to myself I can do it)

My second stupid question is - is there a guide to actually using the casino/bingo type games as I've never played them in real life never mind online!

TessTube · 14/05/2017 16:52

I had murder with both rollovers so far, constantly winning on the bookies. It was a right pain!

louisejxxx · 14/05/2017 18:05

Hmph - I need Tottenham to win both halves to get a free Coral bet, they won first and were winning second half but Man Utd have just scored so the second half is technically a draw ☹️

OverthinkingSpartacus · 14/05/2017 18:42

@myheadsamess

I'm no good at maths so hopefully someone brainier than me can help you with exact figures. I use the odds monkey calculater when placing each bet and it tells you how much profit or loss you make. I then add that data to my spreadsheet. If you know the odds you used on each bet, you could use the calculater to work out your exact profit.

There's also casino guides on Odds Monkey, I've found them really useful, especially the blackjack strategy. I knew nowt about card games and am now a whizz at blackjack and getting there with poker.

The karaoke party slot is still showing for me on betfred, took me a while to find it yesterday though as I didn't realise you had to be on the games page before searching and was doing it from betfred homepage.

MaidOfStars · 14/05/2017 19:07

myheads
How much did you lose in liability at the exchange in the Lyon v Ajax match?

MaidOfStars · 14/05/2017 19:12

It's a key piece of info!

MaidOfStars · 14/05/2017 19:18

Your bookie odds were 2.68.

If you layed at 2.8, your liability was 32.99.

This puts you at an overall profit of about £10.50.

louisejxxx · 14/05/2017 21:07

My tasks for this week are to set up a skrill account and to sign up with smarkets, so that I can then add paddypower to my list of bookies.

Can anyone tell me if there are any attached costs to skrill e.g do you get charged a certain amount for every transaction in and/or out? I've heard lots about how good it is because the money transactions are instant, but not a lot about any downsides.

imnottoofussed · 14/05/2017 21:21

Not having much luck getting my money back from exchange from my betway rollover. My initial bet won at bookies and now three of my five bets trying to get money back are also winning at bookies Confused I'll have done my full wagering requirement soon at this rate Hmm

imnottoofussed · 14/05/2017 21:22
