Your MLM radar was correct myusername - economize is yet another mind blowing opportunity for the Bots to smash. Seems to have some ex LTW Bots signed up to it.

Spongebobette · 31/05/2017 12:38

Really? Wow!

But salon bot is still posting about double diamonds etc.....

SteelyEyes · 31/05/2017 12:59

Compulsory strike off 25th April it would seem. Looks like they got notification that the strike off was coming in February.

Spongebobette · 31/05/2017 13:15

Have they reopened under another, very similar, name??

SteelyEyes · 31/05/2017 13:38

I can't see that they have. The director only held that one directorship in the UK as far as I can tell.

CurlsandCurves · 31/05/2017 14:33

@Moose23 I was wondering the same thing, he appears to have loads if followers who big him up whatever mlm he is with that week! Do they all jump ship and follow him to his next one?
The 'manager' who he was doing a live with from the Bahamas seemed shifty as hell.

TrippleFlappyDiamondSparrow · 31/05/2017 15:20

Thanks for the warm welcome huns.

Can somebody explain how they are still recruiting and trading if they have dissolved? Or am I just being really thick?

Moose23 · 31/05/2017 15:27

Is anyone here game enough to post that picture on his facebook and ask? Wink

darceybussell · 31/05/2017 15:59

Re Valentus - it's probably that they have set up a new UK Company, perhaps intending to trade through it in future, but it looks like they haven't submitted any accounts or annual returns - if you don't do that after a while companies house automatically strike it off.

It might not mean anything if they haven't used the company for anything yet.

TrippleFlappyDiamondSparrow · 31/05/2017 16:10

Thanks for the explanation.

That's one MLM I can not wait to see the back of.

SteelyEyes · 31/05/2017 16:35

Thanks Darceybussell

TrippleFlappyDiamondSparrow · 31/05/2017 18:07

I have just spotted a 'friend/downline' of Salonbot all over a Facebook group where people are really kicking off about her poaching people from raffle sites to make her own. I would of thought someone at emerald status who cries on lives every time she gets paid wouldn't need to do this if she was making as much as she claims to be!? And risk have her name dragged through the mud for rather unethical behaviour.

I hate raffle pages anyway but found this rather amusing 😂😂

Toobusytowee · 31/05/2017 19:47

Lots of messages here since I last checked!

Thrive is a product sold by le-vel. Sued Lazyman and money to try and stop him warning people about the company. He won.

Economize- new MLM with LTW connections.

These two companies are on the botwatchblog directory if you want more links. www.google.co.uk/amp/s/botwatchblog.wordpress.com/2016/06/21/directory-of-mlm-information/amp/

Valentus are still going strong.

Toobusytowee · 31/05/2017 19:50

Every time someone in Valentus persuaded someone to spend $499 to join up, they get $100. This is why they want to keep recruiting. Each time your recruits recruit, you get another $100. If you have a big network you can get loads of money. And you don't even need to sell any product, you can just autoship a load of coffee to yourself each month.

cozietoesie · 31/05/2017 20:50

They'd probably say that the money was 'irrelevant', though, Toobusy. That it was all about helping others reach their full, slim, potential. Grin

You'll love this Gary Halbert Newsletter - it's the best critique of all that is wrong with Multi Level Marketing I've ever read. It's worth reading right to the end - it makes John Oliver's take on MLMs look tame in comparison.

www.thegaryhalbertletter.com/newsletters/zdla_multi_level_marketing.htm

For those of you who don't know, Gary Halbert was a wordsmith who specialised in awesome sales letters. He thought MLM schemes were "always stupid" and was sick of being approached by network marketers hoping to cash in on his marketing expertise. He threw some network marketers out of a seminar once. He even warned his staff that they would be fired for simply giving him a message from someone enquiring about MLM schemes.

He didn't mince his words, or suffer fools gladly. Here's one of the more palatable things he wrote about MLMs:

... Everything about MLM is bad. MLM is not inherently evil but it does (nearly always) attract inherently evil people. Even if you start out with good products, good intentions and good people, you will eventually, if you grow a little, attract a massive amount of human scum into your operation. And, even if this were not true, the whole idea is still stupid. When you shuck right down to the cob, MLM is simply a magnet for lazy people who are looking for a way to sell without selling. The whole thing sucks.

Like I said, it's worth reading the whole letter from the beginning to the end. It's a cracking read. Grin

cozietoesie · 31/05/2017 22:43

The....'downline dorks'. He doesn't pull his verbal punches much. Wink

BSintolerant · 31/05/2017 23:01

Grin I like his theory that MLM lowers IQ!

Sean1984 · 01/06/2017 00:40

That flat bot really is a sad gift that keeps on giving. How many mlm's has this guy been in and 'smshs' them all, but then leaves them to get a "proper job" coz he cant pay his rent.... and now back again. The People follwing him & thinking hes great are even worst, any person doing this much switching is obviously making Fanny all money... you'd want to be brain dead not to relaise this!! Confused seriously like!! How many times a day do these people post on FB.Next they will be telling everyone when they must go to the toilet, and whether its a pee pee or a poo pooShock Was down at a neighbours house the other day & next thing she got a friend request on facebook from a person with 2 mutual friends in common, i said look at her profile, sure enought it was an "entrepreneur" -Juice plus!! Block block block i said..no shame these people

MyCatsHateMLMtoo · 01/06/2017 07:50

Oh dear, Stokeflatbot shows us what being involved in MLM is really all about; spending your own money every month in order to qualify for promotions "MLM reps are their own best customers".

BSintolerant · 01/06/2017 08:19

Why can't they see how the CEOs of mlm companies make money out of them? First you spend £200 on a so-called business in a box, then spend the same every month thereafter just to qualify for bonuses. Wake the fuck up!

CurlsandCurves · 01/06/2017 08:48

Anyone else getting their Facebook feed flooded with 'Beachbody is coming to the uk, be one of the first coaches, get in at the top' etc?

I love their workouts but I don't know anything about their mlm side. Is it that people pay to train to be coaches and then people pay to have them as a trainer?

RogerLimasOldestDreadlock · 01/06/2017 11:03

@CurlsandCurves I think it's selling their "shakeology" protein shake things, as opposed to their exercise stuff.

I like their workouts too. The shakes look like a load of nonsense though like 99% of protein shakes.

(Not a lurker, just a namechanger. I have the NuSkin bot, who didn't seem to take my post on board, btw, but has now left her DH Hmm)

fitgirl26 · 01/06/2017 11:26

www.lazymanandmoney.com/beachbody-shakeology-scam/

Here's a long but quite interesting article about Beachbody. I know a few fellow fitness instructors who teach Insanity. I would hope they're not the type to get sucked into this but having seen a very sensible Body Pump instructor friend suddenly transform into an Isagenix Bot I guess anything is possible....

Whatsaldigottodowithit · 01/06/2017 13:40

Right I give in, can someone message me who flatbot and salonbot are please.
