Thanks, cozie Yes, we are very close friends...I'm expecting it will likely fizzle out as I can't see how anyone can make any money out of it and surely there's only so many products you can buy yourself?! She was also a bit into one of the cooking ones (Pampered Chef?) many years ago so I'll have a look at the websites and see if there are any subtle ways to discuss it. Her DP has his head on though so I hope she doesn't get too sucked in.
I'm mainly surprised at Neal's Yard which I thought was a bit more upmarket but I guess anything goes to rake in the £££.

The thing is with Neal's Yard is, the products are lovely but several times a year Waitrose has 25% off (which is when I stock up) so I don't see how a 'business owner' could compete

Being told to lose weight (by any means and method no doubt) and your "reward" is to appear on a stage with the rich person at the top of the pyramid to promote weight loss due to their products.

Great! Starve yourself to be an advert and for a "free" working holiday.

This thing re uber bot.
It's always very sad when a relationship breaks up, particularly when there's a child involved. And I do not want to gloat.
But it is a very interesting glimpse into the 'attraction marketing' which is one of the biggest tools used by these top bots; a perfect life, tons of money etc etc.
We now can see what is left out of the picture in one case.
Mind you, a little further down the road this will be used as another 'story' , i.e. 'FL helped me so much to get through a difficult stage in my life, I am so blessed'

I've just pissed my (only) mlm bot off (younique) as she keeps mentioning about how it is totally cruelty free. A quick Google told me it isn't. So I asked her to double check and if she's right, then current information needs updating.
I like watching her updates but I do feel quite sad for her.

Is/was she a friend rather than an acquaintance?

Probably more an acquaintance. I genuinely feel for her and hope she gets out of it.
