FM have been around a couple of years I think. They sell copy perfumes. Fakes basically for a much lower price. I've been offered some via fb. It thought the smell might be pretty bad

Spongebobette · 07/05/2017 15:04

"If you think you can't your right"

Apparently.

cozietoesie · 07/05/2017 16:10

Dear Me. I think they got that one wrong. (Apart from the obvious.)

Toobusytowee · 07/05/2017 17:55

More like 'If you think you can, you can't. But don't worry, just lie and say you can.'

moreslackthanslick · 07/05/2017 21:09

Friend of mine is on holiday in Mexico and updated Facebook to complain that she bought what she thought were menthol cigarettes but instead they turned out to be "poxy Aloe Vera" and are vile! Grin

Vancitybrit · 08/05/2017 07:46

Anyone heard of Helo? Seems like some kind of overpriced Fitbit.

Anyway, I live in Canada but am currently over the border in the US and was at a popular tourist attraction with my family today when a lady offered to take a photo of us all. Hearing our accents she started asking about where we were from etc. Her husband hung back looking sheepish. It was a weird stilted conversation which I ended with a cheerful "enjoy your day". She walked off but came back with a business card and how she wanted to keep in touch - suddenly everything makes sense!! She's trying to recruit me to add a bit of international flavour to her downline! She wasn't very good though as she didn't manage to get my details.

I haven't been approached since a FL bot tried it regarding my DD's excema when I was on mat leave - it was that encounter which opened my eyes to FL and MLM in general. I'm quite excited that I got to see a bot in action today.

fitgirl26 · 08/05/2017 09:42

Beware of Helo - it has an ex Lifetree World Bot and several ex Onecoin scammers amongst the top Bots!

She got just over 4k in Dubai I note

ArbunneHun · 08/05/2017 18:57

Like that American Nu Skin family who went viral recruiting nanny/tutor/servant to travel the world with them on a pitiful 'wage'...?

seayouentea · 08/05/2017 19:15

How scamtastic is Oriflame? Is it something like Avon or is it full on MLM territory?
Someone I used to work with a few years ago has invited me to join her Oriflame page featuring all the usual stuff like come join my team e.t.c

Magna · 08/05/2017 22:04

BSintolerant · 08/05/2017 22:20

How many votes would the MLM Resistance Party get in the UK general election? Grin

There's a thought!

cozietoesie · 09/05/2017 00:42

Your moment of glory approacheth, BS. Grin

BSintolerant · 09/05/2017 06:52

Various reasons prevent me from voting in the U.K so I'm just lighting the fuse Cozie! 💣😂

A friend of mine stood for a totally new party in Europe several years ago (I won't go into details as it would identify this person) at the last minute and did remarkably well.

An MLM Resistance Party candidate would certainly raise awareness of the reality of these schemes.

fitgirl26 · 09/05/2017 09:37

Magna - Vitality is an insurance based company. One of the LTW Top Bots was with ViiSana which sells Vitality products before switching to Lifetree World and he is now with Wor(l)d who promote Helo. This suggests to me that there is an MLM element involved but I haven't been able find much confirmation of that. I do remember that the Bot had to sit some kind of insurance exam while he was with them.

NannyOggsKnickers · 09/05/2017 11:40

Hello Again!

Just thought I'd update you all on my potential FL bot- the ex-colleague who was about to become a dad.

No reply to my message but he hasn't posted any more about Forever. I'm hoping that he's seen sense but is too ashamed to talk about it. I am so utterly disgusted that he was targeted in the first place!

cozietoesie · 09/05/2017 12:52

Here's hoping, Nanny. Smile

rosesandcashmere · 09/05/2017 15:01
