As the last thread is almost full, here is a nice fresh clean one.

In a nutshell, matched betting is a clever way of making ££££ from the bookies without ever having to gamble.

This is profit accumulator

This is odds monkey

Have read. TAKE YOUR TIME!

Oh and don't panic trying to write everything down while placing your bets. Whatever calculator you are using has all the numbers you need so place the bet & lay then update book with the details.

Etaina · 22/04/2017 15:33

Have got a £10.25 win with Sky Bet but it keeps saying that there are no payment methods on my account even though I've successfully added my card a number of times. I'm using the same card to withdraw that I used to deposit. Anyone else had this problem?

TessTube · 22/04/2017 15:44

Sky bet wouldn't let me add my card but I emailed them and they got back really quickly and sorted it

TheSleeperandTheSpindle · 22/04/2017 16:08

Ok I've read both threads on here and some other online guides and decided to go for it. I registered with betfair and coral and attempted to match the back and the lay bet. The best matching odds were for a draw in the Chelsea v Spurs game today so I went for that but now I'm worried I've done it wrong, sounds stupid I know but you can back and lay on a draw can't you?? Blush

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/04/2017 16:18

Yes, you can. Just be sure that you backed and layed the same thing Smile

neonrainbow · 22/04/2017 16:18

I don't think we need to do mug bets until we have done all the free bets do we? Because all the bookies will see is one £5 or £10 bet then the free bets placed then we don't need to go back to that bookie until we start on the reload offers do we?

I blindly did what oddsmonkey said and put on the highest odds available which meant my liability for a £20 bet was about £104. Now all my money is tied up until the end of tomorrow. However if I had thought about it I could have done slightly lower odds and it would only have cost me about £50 in liability and therefore could have placed two by now with only a couple of quid less profit. Lesson learnt!

titchy · 22/04/2017 16:37

Can anyone help on a Ladbrokes reload offer..

They'll match a new deposit if minimum £20 paid in. All fine, but ts and cs say you have to wager 20 TIMES DEPOSIT + BONUS before any winnings can be turned to cash - so I have to bet £800 Shock Is that right? It seems a massive amount....

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/04/2017 16:42

I think that's right. One of the things that scares me is the vast amounts of money you need for a lot of the reloads, even though it is safe.

Sshsecretenclosed · 22/04/2017 17:20

Ladies I need some guidance. I began MB about a week and a half ago and have been chipping away at some start up offers, I have completed Betfred, Ladbrokes, William Hill, Paddy Power and Coral. I didn't use a huge float just a bit here and there but still thought I'd been making a profit and thought I might have a little reward. Today I've worked out my profit and it is £90. Whilst I realise it isn't a negative, it's not quite the couple of hundred I hoped for when I started out. Do I cancel the Profit accumulator account and abandon my new hobby or are the big bucks out there waiting for me?!? Got a big holiday planned that needs paying off and I thoguht this would be an ideal way. Feeling a little disheartened. Any tips?

zebrano · 22/04/2017 17:22

Do some of the bookies take a while to show the bets as settled? A free bet of mine on a football match is showing as lost on betfair, so the dosh should be in betfred, only the status is still showing as open and the 'winnings' not showing yet. Makes me a bit nervy!

louisejxxx · 22/04/2017 17:48

Sshsecret I think that's sounds about right to me so far - it does take a bit of work and can get tedious from what I've read. It sounds like you've been making about £15 - £20 per free bet which sounds about right to me.

zebrano · 22/04/2017 17:59

Ssh - it sounds as though you're at the same point as me. I'm about 2 weeks in but going very slowly. Think I've done 5 bookies and I'm at £86 profit. I've read lots about people making 2k in 6 weeks but I'm not sure how to achieve that!

neonrainbow · 22/04/2017 18:20

Zebrano probably by having a massive float.

titchy · 22/04/2017 18:32

OMG a guaranteed £49 tomorrow from Arsenal v Man C. Newbie promotion gave me enhanced odds of 11 for Man C to win, so £100 back if they do. Layed at 1.86 with a liability of £49 if they don't win!

titchy · 22/04/2017 18:32

Or have I just made a tit of myself? Blush

Etaina · 22/04/2017 18:37

What promotion was that titchy?

Sshsecretenclosed · 22/04/2017 19:18

Good to hear I'm not alone! More details please titchy. How can we make more than £15-20 here and there?!

titchy · 22/04/2017 19:44

Paddy power - got my free bets then an 'enhancement' popped up - Man C for 11 instead of 1.something.....!

titchy · 22/04/2017 19:47

Though I'm happy with £15 per round tbh. I reckon doing two qualifying bets and using the two freebies a day for three days each week gives me £15 x 6, so £90 a week which is the sort of money I need to support dc1 through uni.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/04/2017 20:04

Whoop! I made 5p on my mug bet, and 4p on my qualifying bet Grin

blankpieceofpaper · 22/04/2017 20:36

I have read it all through and I am trying to figure it all out. I am trying to do my first one now.

Why on "match information" does it always give "your profit will be - £0.26" in red. Why always the minus for each one? Will I just keep losing money in small amounts?

blankpieceofpaper · 22/04/2017 20:43

Also, on betfair I have registered and have deposited but I can't seem to find how to use the free bet.

I should just give up now!

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/04/2017 21:02

Will I just keep losing money in small amounts

On qualifying bets yes. You make the money on the free bets.

TessTube · 22/04/2017 21:04

You can see how much you are likely to make from the sign ups by having a scan through, im sure I've read that it's more like 450 though?

Maybe the 2k people did them and all the casino stuff v quickly. I've been putting on here & there over the weekend plus I did mug bets on paddy power - looks to be a profit of about £54.

edengarden123 · 22/04/2017 21:07

Quick question. What £ profit would be good to aim for on a £50 free bet...
