A no-spend-on-non-essentials year?

Oops, posted too soon. So, does anyone else have months or years like this, I really need nothing, but normally the 'Ooo' factor gets me. Anyone else?

Argh! It deleted the first bit. I'm having a year of not buying things I don't need, and I'm going to make do. Things I don't need more of are clothes, shoes and make up. I really don't need these do I'm going to try and save the money instead
