Lets keep monitoring these pesky MLMs, shining a light on their nefarious activities, and supporting bots who realise the truth and need support.

Thanks, Dora. I've wondered in the past. Smile

Spongebobette · 08/04/2017 10:04

Watched a few mins of livestream just now

U.K./Ireland/Iceland have dropppex to number 2 and Japan is number 1

Interview in the crowd with the 2 toppest UK bots who say they will create momentum, double efforts etc etc etc

Spongebobette · 08/04/2017 10:05

I must say it looks absolutely hellish in that hall.

DoratheExplorer17 · 08/04/2017 10:45

Castle bot

2016 $490k
2017 $416k

Not huge drop compared to some but still 15%. Still a nice tidy sum to have though, but shows business is slowing

DoratheExplorer17 · 08/04/2017 10:52

Just dipped into the live stream and FLP owners son has just said (and I quote)

'This is a sponsoring business!!!! Never stop sponsoring'

Erm yep!!! No mention of selling products to people or the fact that you are supposed to be able to retire in 5 years with an amazing lifestyle. NEVER stop sponsoring.

MrsGotobed · 08/04/2017 10:54

As a poster girl for FL I guess they had to not make it such an obvious drop from last year.

DoratheExplorer17 · 08/04/2017 11:10

To be fair though her business is not much different from last year. She's still almost in the same CCs qualification bracket as last year. Most other people's CCs dropped significantly

BSintolerant · 08/04/2017 11:15

Was the Forever Living logo inspired by another cult at a rally in Germany in the 1930s and 40s? Grin

U.K. Number one bot

2016 $1 million
2017 $677k

cozietoesie · 08/04/2017 12:52

And just how many personal tragedies and bankruptcies do those figures represent?

Tupperwarelid · 08/04/2017 12:54

Who were the top overall earners? Was it the German couple again?

Jonsey32 · 08/04/2017 13:39

Do we know what eyebrow bot got?

Jonsey32 · 08/04/2017 13:46

Ah it's ok just spotted it.
Why are they all so much lower this year? Is it because business is dropping off or is it because the goal posts have been moved?
I'm confused!

cozietoesie · 08/04/2017 14:02

A combination of both. Smile

BSintolerant · 08/04/2017 14:06

I hope business has dropped off because more and more people are alive to the realities of MLMs thanks to threads like this one, Bot Watch, and Eyes' blog. Lots of people have left Forever Fibbing to join the MLM Resistance at Timeless Vie. What's not to love about Skinny Lard and Parslaii?

Spongebobette · 08/04/2017 14:14

Has the exchange rate/ drop in Sterling had anything to do with it?

cozietoesie · 08/04/2017 14:18

Whatever the reasons - and it's not as if there's going to be full financial disclosure any time soon - just note that the 'on the surface rewards' are dropping. Hard. Grin

DoratheExplorer17 · 08/04/2017 14:51

The drop is mainly down to the fact that business has been massively affected over the last 18 months by Ariix poaching, people leaving in big numbers who've seen the light, partly down to these threads I should think, the fact that FLP is now plastered all over social media people know about it and it's much harder to recruit people. And these drops in cheques will make more people think twice hopefull about joining a declining business. The changing goal posts won't have impacted much at all. Yes you only get half the CCs for recruiting, but people still have to do a minimum of 4CCs so they've either recruited twice as many in order to meet that, sold more products, or spent. Ore of their own money to fill up their own garages!!

cozietoesie · 08/04/2017 15:06

That's true, Dora. Prior to the huge exposure, people might have gone 'MLM? What does that mean? (If they even realised that that was what it was.) These days, many many people - upon hearing a name - will just start laughing and say something like 'XXXXX? I don't think so.'

Smile
Spongebobette · 08/04/2017 15:11

TBH I think that the drop in cheque sizes won't have a lot of impact on brand new recruits as they are still big sums and, unless they do due diligence and try to find out what last year's were, they are still likely to be dazzled

Thank goodness for threads like these and the tireless work of Timelesz Vie and Botwatch

Toobusytowee · 08/04/2017 15:40

Here's an observation from Eyes

Apropos of what is currently happening at the latest 'FLP' orgy of deluded self-gratification.

This minority of 'FLP' shill-Bots who, each year, are thrust into the spotlight (complete with their outsize cheques and inane grins) are a bedazzling distraction. Some of us have long-since worked out that behind this ritual performance, in the 'Amway' copy-cat 'MLM' cultic racket known as 'FLP,' massive and chronic hidden trading-losses have been off-loaded onto an endless-chain comprising millions of ill-informed persons whose unlawful investment payments have been laundered as 'sales,' and who have been arbitrarily defined in their take-it-or-leave-it contracts as: 'Distributors.' This classic system for obscuring the truth, has given the 'FLP' corporate-front the outward appearance of perpetual expansion and prosperity.

Spongebobette · 08/04/2017 16:34

Thanks Eyes

Spongebobette · 08/04/2017 16:38

And so the endless cycle of recruitment cranks up again.

Those are low amounts - comparatively.
