If you think of the cost of the rally being an advertising and marketing v tool, it doesn't seem quite so generous of the company

Finally found a list of last years cheque amounts of the Top 10 so from what I can see these are some of the drops:

I doubt they'll see them I fear. I doubt whether many have the time or the energy to do any comparisons - and calculating things in the face of an enthusing upline doesn't seem to be many adherents' strong suit. Or they would long ago have worked out how much they would actually lose by joining.

An flp rep I once knew has seen a drop in her bonus too. Here is what she received over the past few years.

2014 - 7k
2015 - 34k
2016 - 130.k
2017 - 105k

Just out of interest, those of you who have lowly worker ant bots on your facebook (the ones that talk the talk but haven't yet made it to a Global Rally and are probably putting the lifestyle on the credit card until they "make it" like their upline) .... keep an eye on their responses to these cheques and the rally as a whole from today onwards.

I'm wondering if they'll just gloss over it, make excuses for them or whatever.

My desperate wannabee bot has gone strangely quiet on fb in the last 24 hours.

I guess that working your backside off, alienating friends and family and seeing the cc debt rising rather than shrinking - then seeing an upline 'swanning' onto a platform to get anything - might help you to reevaluate your life. The MLM got that one wrong, I reckon.

That's because a goodly proportion of it will likely be made up and copied.

I see that PhD bot went from $25k last year to $70k this year . Guess that will help pay the student loan back!

Wonder how long brow / thatch bot can continue to renovate the house and face / body / teeth with the cheques dwindling year after year.

Yeah and don't forget these cheques are often for a couple who have gone all in and made FL their only 'job'

I bloody love big cheque day but I've had to be out with the kids all day so I've missed it.

Imagine getting your bonus from work and having to stand on a stage and cry about it. Surely they can see how absolutely ridiculous it all is. My bot was crying her eyes out last night because the Forever logo was beamed on to a hotel which is, apparently, one of the world's top landmarks .

I can't imagine being so disgustingly vain and lacking in self awareness that I'd think posting details of my work bonus on line was a good idea.

They've misread much of their potential clientele.

If you were properly self employed and your salary dropped by several thousand pounds in 12months you certainly wouldn't be whooping and yelling all over FB. You'd be panicking and working out where you could be cutting back in your home life to make ends meet.

Out of interest. Do high earning adherents actually get all of this money - the full cheque amount - in their hands? If so, when?

They get the full amount stated on the cheque and it's paid the week after the end of the rally. It's up to them whether they put the funds into their limited company or pay themselves and declare it to the tax man
