extra tax credit payment ?

Has anyone had an extra tax credit payment this week ?

Tomorrow is a bank holiday in N.Ireland so my payment is a day early...is that what's happened perhaps?

Im not sure but Im not in N.Ireland and I NEVER had an early payment until Ive had one today .Wondered if it was an owed payment at the end of this tax year ?

I got one last week and it has reduced this week's payment. no indication to why on the letter though.

Be careful because whenever i have had extra payments for no reason my weekly payments reduce.

I'm not in N.Ireland either. My payment was the same just a day early.
It could be to do with end of tax year. I think you can check your payments online.

My payment was normal today but I have had both random early payments and random one off "adjustment" payments in the past.

Hopefully you will get a letter within the next fortnight few days explaining.

Mine was a day early today, because it's a bank holiday in northern Ireland and processed there, you'll get it a day early wherever you are in the UK.
