Ppi- can't remember everyone I've had credit with, will any company's help?

My finances were a absolute disaster when I was younger. I had loads of store cards loans and credit cards but have zero paperwork for any and can't even remember every card/loan I had or even the amounts or dates they were settled

Is there any company I can give permission to trail through my records or do I actually need to give them details of what I had?

Any help would be appreciated

Have you had a look on your credit report for any clues?

I have but it doesn't seem to go back that far there is only recent applications on it.
