Returned direct debit

Checked the bank this morning online and a company has taken a direct debit out 3 times in error causing me to go overdrawn so will bounce I have phoned them they have agreed to refund any bank charges if I forward on the letter off the bank. I am with Halifax when will the returned direct debit go back into my account.

Can you ring the bank? Under the direct debit guarantee they should return the direct debits without charge

Call your bank. They should give you an immediate refund under the terms of the direct debit guarantee.
