can I block an incoming chaps payment?

I am in a financial mess and a well meaning close relative from Europe transferred me a small amount. I cannot take it. Is there a way to prevent it from reaching my account (and that it gets send back to him)?

No you can't stop the payment being received.

You may also incur charges with your bank for sending it back as it's an international payment. You would also need their bank details to arrange to send the payment back.
