Maternity Allowance- Help!

Hey there,

So I've started filling out my maternity allowance form (late may I add) and I've come across the question of when I would like them to start paying me.

I left work on the 13th of Jan and I'm not sure if I should put that date or a date in the future (like the 20th of Feb etc..)

Any ideas on what I should put ?

Thanks for any help in advance. I'm sure this probably sounds Iike a silly question too aha.

I think there is a specific week before which you cannot be paid, around 30th week iirc. The earlier you are paid before edd the sooner it stops afterwards.

Max 11 weeks before edd (which would appear on your MATB1 form issued by midwife)
