Hi just had a fone call from my solicitor saying I'm getting a interim payment soon and also a meeting to try settle my case out of court how will the interim payment effect my council tax and housing benefit ?

What is it to be an interim payment 'for' and (roughly) how large would it be?

Shakey15000 · 18/01/2017 07:22

It would depend on the amount I would imagine.

The interim payment is 30k final settlement hopefully to be by mutual agreement mid to end of Feb will be quite a large pay out !!

Perhaps contact the relevant offices to enquire?

Erm yeah, if you have 30k you will be expected to pay your own rent and council tax Confused
