If I was sent a BACS payment at 9am this Tuesday, when am I likely to receive the money into my account?

Friday. It takes 3 working days.

Yes, 3 working days - Tuesday (sent), Wednesday, Thursday (received).

Most banks do it within two hours now. Unusual to have to wait days.

Some do it almost immediately, others take 3 working days.
