I owe thousands

I've just found out that we owe a lot of money because of something I overlooked and my dh is understandably furious. I thought it was about half the amount it actually is.

I only realised my mistake a couple of months ago, but he thinks I've been deceiving him which I haven't.

I'm going to meet him now to face the music, but how can I earn back his trust? I feel sick.

Tell the truth - it's not too late.

I have, he just won't believe me.

Do you have physical proof - credit cards bills or the like? Wouldn't he believe it was an honest mistake?

I have statements etc and bills haven't been paid when they should have been. I feel frozen with fear.

I've just transferred over about £100, it just seems a pitiful drop in the ocean. I've been such an idiot

I'm sure he'll leave me. He's so angry.
