Has anyone any experience of private parking fines? I am not sure but I think the law in Scotland and NI is different to England/Wales and just looking for anyone's experiences re fines and threatening court action etc etc.
TIA

Oh just pay - the £60 is not worth the hassle of fighting, and eventually loosing anyway!

No, don't pay. Go to Pepipoo (parking forum online) and get some advice from people who know the law around private and council parking tickets.

If it's private then you now have to pay for breach of contract. If, however, the signage was not clear (or non-existent), or you did in fact park legally, then you have every right to challenge it.
