I just can't seem to get my ahead around how to work this out.

If I earn £22039 at 37 hours per week. What would be my annual salary working 28 hours per week?

Thanks in advance

£16678

You can work it out by dividing the annual salary by 37, then multiplying it by 28

16678

Yep £16,678. Divide £22,039 by 37, then multiply by 28.

Just to throw a spanner in the works...
Are you trying to out your net take home pay if you reduce your hours?
If so, use an online take home pay calculator as your tax will be different, so you can't just /37 and x28 your net pay.

£16678 will still be the gross pay before tax - then put that figure into a take-home pay calculator to see what's left after tax.
