Sole mortgage / joint finances

Hello, hoping someone clever can advise.....if I were to apply for a mortgage in my name only, would the lender be concerned with the fact I have a joint account with partner and query his income / outgoings etc? Or would they just look at affordability based on my salary? TIA

I have a sole mortgage and a joint account. They insisted that my DH signed a declaration to say his rights to remain in the house doesn't trump the mortgage companies rights to repossession if I default but other than that they didn't seem to care.
