Have you received a letter from HMRC or Concentrix? This is part 9. Hopefully we can support each other and try and make sense of it all.

@overtiredbackagain, make sure you leave it no longer than one month from the date your DLA decision was made, if you wait longer than that HMRC will only backdate the disability element 31 days 👎

Overtiredbackagain · 01/10/2016 21:26

Thanks Mummy, I updated online the day my updated award came through. I didn't want to do it before in case of confusion, Disability dates 7th September so I should be ok? X

They really couldn't make this worse for people than it already is, absolutely deplorable! How can anyone believe this is down to incompetence. The minister of hmrc gave concentrix the power and guidelines and people rationalize this by saying the hmrc minister is just very dumb. He is NOT dumb! He is far more intelligent than most. Dumb people do NOT get into powerful positions in this world, only intelligent, corrupt members of the cabal get there.

And while this has been going on since January your government has been working very hard on sugar tax, abolition of your rights, expansion of government powers and illegal interventions in foreign affairs that fail every time.

HMRC recently ASKED Google how much tax they would like to pay as they have avoided hundreds of millions over the years. Obviously, the answer was less than 1%. The billionaires pay nothing while you get terrorized when the tiniest bit of evidence that you may be cheating comes to light.

How can people be soo blind? What planet are these politicians on? How are corrupt con men like David Cameron able to deceive our MP's on things like foreign interventions that have only ever made things worse? How stupid and gullible you must be to vote for foreign interventions is astonishing. But they still do it. MP's are stupid, crazy and blind -- is the only explanation I can think of. MP is not a powerful position, they can't do shit. They have been writing to the minister of hmrc since January, nothing happens. What a surprise!

The biggest issue that is directly affecting people in Britain gets almost zero media coverage. I wonder why...

areyoublind · 04/10/2016 15:38

And Tesco members, did you get your free dog food this year? They are trying to tell you something in a coded way. It is strictly prohibited for any member of the cabal to tell the zombie dogs the truth. So they do it with code, just watch the cartoons very obvious messages everywhere.

MummyOfTwoSNC · 04/10/2016 22:30

Yes hun, that is in time 😊 I'd recommend still giving them a ring before the 7th though, just to make sure it's on the system before that date. They were awful with backdating my daughters, I'm now going through it again with our son.

Overtiredbackagain · 05/10/2016 14:37

Mummy the date of the DLA decision was 22 September, the award was made from 7th September, so I have plenty of time?

MummyOfTwoSNC · 05/10/2016 22:41

Sorry hun, I must of read your last comment wrong. You said the 7th of September so I automatically assumed you meant it was your decision date. Sorry 😊

areyoublind · 06/10/2016 09:54

So Concentrix currently has 200,000 open cases and the minister of hmrc thinks there is no need to terminate the contract immediately or even have an investigation, corrupt Masonic scumbag PM agrees. NO investigation?

Are you blind?

emma234fer · 08/10/2016 16:05

Ok just a heads up, i run a facebook group called concentrixmums and will be closing soon so sent a link out for those not sorted to come over to here. Also there is a select comitee in parliment on Thursday so watch on parliment tv. Its for their failings also another on the 26th oct regards to their contract. Ill update when i know more

butterfly1973 · 10/10/2016 08:51

Morning

I'm stunned to see how many people are stuck in this mess, good to see in these posts that people are getting sorted finally!

Can anyone sorted tell me long it took people from putting in mandatory reconsideration to getting payments back??

Tomorrow is week 9 of no payment, I only just found out about the MR through this thread, rang concentrix this morning & they said passed back to hmrc now (although not on their systems yet)

Tia Smile

butterfly1973 · 10/10/2016 08:53

Ooh & mine was wrongfully suggesting I lived with previous tenant as my partner, they sent initial letter to old address so I never got initial compliance request

JustSomeGuy · 10/10/2016 14:39

Butterfly1973 there is no official timescale apparently, don't think HMRC were ready for this scale of problem so they can't give definitive target times because they simply don't know.

butterfly1973 · 10/10/2016 15:13

Thanks @justSomeGuy

Quite a bit has happened since then lol. After speaking to both concentrix & hmrc this morning & getting fobbed off i got a letter in the post stating that hmrc was now handling my claim & has had it since 6th october!

After ringing hmrc back & pushing them quite a bit i got through to someone on the dedicated team who was much more helpful than anyone else i've spoken to. She said concentrix had cancelled my claim & so i had no live claim at all! She took lots of my details again & it has now been passed for 'sos' processing & she's going to ring me back in around 3 days to let me know whats going on

Sounds promising, not got hopes up though

JustSomeGuy · 10/10/2016 16:15

Have you submitted a mandatory reconsideration before today?

butterfly1973 · 10/10/2016 17:10

Only found out about it yesterday so submitted online

OutnumberedbyFurchesters · 10/10/2016 17:26

My work (not HMRC) has been helping those struggling with these issues. We've recommended people contact their local MP as they can recommend individual cases be prioritised and resolved quickly. However all cases are now becoming more urgent so may only help a little.

Paperwork such as MR and documents take around 10 days to appear on the system, so that's why you may be they haven't received them yet.
All cases are being transferred to HMRC
Workers are getting through them evenings and weekends also, and are getting through them quickly.
However due to the vast amount, 2-3weeks processing time from receipt is HMRCs guideline at the moment.

Hope that helps, even if only a little :)

bloodyteenagers · 13/10/2016 22:10

Week 7 I received a letter from HMRC advising me that my case had been handed back over to them from Contrix, and my case would be looked at urgently and to expect a reply within the next three weeks.

Week 8, logged into banking to see how dire things were mid month, only to find that I had a huge payment from Tax Credits. From my calculations, my award has been increased, which would tally with what others have said I should have been getting. Since Concentrix took my case back in February my payments had reduced until they had stopped Mid August.

Today received a letter from HMRC letting me know that my Mandatory Reconsideration had gone in my favour and my claim re-activated as they were satisfied that the information was incorrect.. Basically I was accused of a fraudulent single parent case as I lived with myself. I actually expected that letter to ask me for more documentation, you see when I originally called Concentrix they wanted evidence I was myself, and financial details going back to April last year. I sent them evidence I was myself, and the first sheet of random bank statements. I didn't send the tenancy they wanted, the mobile bills, the utilities and everything else they asked for. Just goes to show, they were doing a fishing expedition and had no legal recourse to ask for the stuff.

Just waiting to receive the actual award notice.

So two months of hell, lots of phone calls because I did harass Concentrix even more so when they pissed me off because they were actually laughing. It might have seemed funny to them that their system had me down as living with myself, but it wasn't funny to me.

The only thing that has come out of this, is I have gone down a dress size.

As for logging in online, I still cannot get access.

butterfly1973 · 14/10/2016 08:52

Thanks for that info, I contacted my MP Monday morning

After that I got a letter from hmrc to say my case was back with them. They still tried to say it wasn't but I quoted the letter & when they got my account up they said they needed to transfer me. I'm assuming this was the dedicated team & the woman I spoke to was brilliant.
She said concentrix had actually cancelled my claim so I had no live claim at all, despite sending 2 lots of paperwork!

She then took details for a fresh claim & said she would contact me within 3 days. 2 days later she rang me back (withheld number) & told me I would receive all 10 weeks backpay on Monday & normal payments begin again on Tuesday! I was so relieved I burst into tears lol still holding my breath a bit until Monday though!
From looking on fb group it seems they sorting lots of claims last few days so hopefully this mess will get sorted for everyone soon

blurredlines · 17/10/2016 21:02

Hello everyone . I had the single check last year and Childcare this year.
I discovered on Friday my ex has applied for a mobile phone contract at my address!! I am absolutely furious ! He said it was for our dd as she needs more data and figured he'd have it posted to my address. I rang ee straight away and advised them he doesn't live here but what else can I do? They said they would cancel it ASAP but I'm terrified it's going to trigger a check . I can't survive without my tc money .

MummyOfTwoSNC · 17/10/2016 22:03

Can I please ask where the Facebook group has gone?

Me2017 · 18/10/2016 09:54

If you want a summary of the select committee hearing see my post at the end of this thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/legal_money_matters/2304086-Concentrix-Complaint-Compensation?pg=4

BettyWinters · 18/01/2017 13:24

Hi,
How long does hmrc usually take to deal with an appeal? my sisters tax credits were stopped about six months ago without any warning, concentric claimed they sent her a letter prior to this but she didnt receive it, she has been accused of still living with her husband, she appears to be getting penialized because she hasnt taken any steps towards a divorce but the truth is neither of them can afford to do this, they parted on fairly good terms & still get along for the sake of their children, the childrens school holidays were spoiled along with birthdays & xmas due to lack of money, family & friends have been helping her out the best they can because we know when she wins her appeal she will pay us back, at the moment she really is at the end of her tether & is suffering from depression, her ex cant help her out because he is on low income which just covers his rent & groceries, i have recently came across some really awful stories online about this, mother & son was living on things like 25p noodles & had to choose whether to heat the house or eat, a mother with teenage daughters had to make their own sanitary products with rags because it was not affordable to buy, some have had to give the family pet away or have it put to sleep, a mother & child ended up homeless.....it really is children who are suffering most from this.
