Never done it before and feel cheeky and nervous...what do i need to know?
Will they try to get out of it?
Do i need to send pictures?
Will they send some one to look at problem?

depends what's happened. can you say what has happened?

hercules1 · 03/02/2007 20:30

It depends. What are you claiming for and what are the circumstances?

Jelley · 03/02/2007 20:30

Depends on the insurance company and what you are claiming.
I claimed when my washing machine flooded and my carpets were soaked. Someone came and looked, then they arranged removal and a voucher for us to chose replacement.
They didn't try and get out of it.

Write it all down before you phone up then you don't mumble on as if you are making it up

Just been decorating and lifted radiator to replace on the wall and we have left a trail of black oily stuff all across the living room.
Its not coming out and looks awful.
The carpet is 3 years old...will that matter?
