old life insurance documets

I presume that life insurance I took out on previous mortgage is null and void since moving in with OH and getting life insurance cover together, but can anyone just confirm this? I just came across my old documents but can't see anything specifically addressing this.

Ring the insurance company. Ask them if the policy is still in force, and if not, ask then to confirm to you the date that it was cancelled. That way you will know that it has definitely ended.
