velux/skylight going rate to install?

I've just had a quote of between £500-£600 for 1 finished velux to be fitted and have no ide of the going rate?

ooh I'll watch with interest , thinking of putting 3 in - is that quote for electric or manual opening , with/without blind ? Do you need planning pepmission ?

That was just for basics ie: manual opening and without a blind.

I'd have to make sure, but as far as I'm aware we don't need planning permmision as they would be at the back of our house.

Just asked DH who is a roofer and he said about £550 for supply and fix so your quote seems to be the going rate.
