Hello, I've tried the benefits calculator on the govt website but questioning the result / my figures, so this isn't a completely lazy post, any help appreciated. I'm about to LTB and just wondered if anyone in a similair position could advise me on the possibly of getting some benefits short term. I'll be on Mat leave, smp + 130 per week occupational pay, with no childcare costs initially. Then I'll return to work 3 days probably and earn about 20k, with childcare costs of £150 per week. Would I be eligible for any govt help? The reason for single parenthood is domestic abuse, incase that makes any difference? Thanks in advance
