Best way to sort overdraft

I'm desperate to get rid of my overdraft - it's costing me about £20 a month for £1500 but mentally I hate it

I am slowly chipping away at it but need a to get it down a lot more

I also have £1000 on credit card (and paying for it like an idiot) I was thinking of only using the credit card for a few months and then transferring to a 0% deal and then cutting the cards up - then pay a fixed amount a month

Does this sound sensible?

I think Nationwide were doing free overdrafts for a year if you switch to them, perhaps worth considering, leave an extra 120 a month in the account, see this as non touchable, and by the end of year you'll be back in the black. And yes transfer to a 0% credit card ASAP, you'll never get anywhere with it otherwise Sad
