Where can you get a replacement birth certificate?

That's it really. Friend cannot find her dd's and needs it to apply for a passport.
Anyone know? TIA

Phonr the registrat they will send an application form, you have to send a cheque about 6 quid. Needs to be registrar for are where they were born

You can also pay by card over the phone. Make sure she asks for the FULL one as will need that for passport.

You can apply via the internet for a copy to whichever District Registry Office the birth was registered in - it may not be the actual local branch but a central one for that area.

If your friend's DD is over 18 months old , she can get a replacement certificate online from here . Usually takes about a week to be delivered. Otherwise the register office where the birth was registered will provide one.
