Credit card application -> delivery

Quick one - if I apply for a credit card today, how long will it take to arrive? I have a large purchase which would be great to apply some hefty cash back to, but not if it won't arrive in time :)

I would say 7-10 days.

I applied for one a week last saturday (11th June) and whilst it was accepted straight away and shows up on my online banking, I haven't received the card yet. That is with Halifax.

I received my barclaycard 6 days after being accepted.
