The petition to wind up Lifetree World at Manchester County Court was dismissed. I guess they settled their bill after all.

LTW said the case had been cancelled and would not be heard. It was heard though. The outcome was that it was dismissed.

Hello folks. I'm a bit of a lurker, but have posted a couple of times on the whole LTW circus. It does feel like the wheels are truly falling off the LTW bus (maybe they tried filling the engine with Yazoo?). But at the same time, they seem to be valiantly limping on despite disaster at every turn.

Their latest -comedy- training video/webinar has most of the "corporate team" (their term) making rather grand excuses for everything ranging from their recent Insolvency Order inconvenience, to the DSA distancing themselves and disavowing accreditation. It is well worth a watch, simply because it's been filmed in Bullsh*tovision. What's a bit confusing is their paranoia... they keep maintaining that other NMs/MLMs are jealous of them? They must be slightly bonkers if they think anyone with half a brain would believe that little old LTW have teamed up with media titans, Sky. The amount of Facebook spam-ads from LTW-Bots claiming Sky have "partnered" and become "accredited" with Sky is startling. I'm a bloke, so I'm not very well up on make-up etc. but LTW are also claiming to have teamed up with RichiBrown cosmetics. I've never heard of them, has anyone else?

Yes there are truths about the training BUT it would appear there is a business to follow so people are being brought into the training as a ruse to them show them the new business. There are currently 'founder member' positions available, I asked what we would be founding and the answer was 'we can't say but it's exciting'.
I'm in their training groups now and all the chat is about is the 'new business'. I feel more confused than I did before.

I will say, being out of MLM now has been really refreshing, I can now say f*ck on my own Facebook without worrying if I'm inspiring someone. I'm sure I am still inspiring people, those who appreciate the f word. #totalhun

There's a technique - it's not known as a 'guessing game', I think, but I recognise it. You hold off telling somebody about some 'inner working' until they're ripe. Then, when they can't contain themselves any more and actually ask about it, you hum and haw, then finally admit them into the 'love circle' where they can become part of the gang and overdose on all those good feelings of being 'special' and 'in the know'.

That way, it's their idea and with all that that - and being part of the 'gang' - entails.

I can't comment on any particular company of course.

LTW people have been accusing me of bing in a rival MLM and having a paymaster. Their accusations baffle me sometimes. I really don't know what they are on about half the time. Really odd.
