husband bought car for travelling to work less than one month ago. after driving on motorway for about an hour the gear pops out and car loses power. Do we have any right to our money back from the garage who sold us it?

The same happened with a car we bought - cost us £2,500 to fix. Unless in the advert it specified it was in good working oreder etc., there isn't alot you can do. You can ask for a refund maybe? You didn't buy it in Watford did you? lol. Ours was a right off but we weren't told, but, it was category D so it's not a legal requirement... There was nothing we could do except repair the car. Do a check on the car, make sure it's not been a right-off.

no we bought it in scotland. Does anyone know what this fault could be? Could we get a refund?
