Child benefit and shared care

NannyPlumBum · 02/06/2016 16:45

Does anyone know for certain that if 2 parents have exactly 50:50 shared care and responsibility for the children - should maintenance have to be paid?
Csa are saying that the parent in receipt of child benefit should receive maintenance.
I'm also finding conflicting information online as to what is actually the correct case...
Any help gratefully received. Thanks

I sought guidance and if overnights are 50/50 then no maintenance are due. They actually said that if I put claim in my ex could counter claim. I receive no proper maintenance but we do share some financial things 50/50 to do with our dd's care

I should add that this equates to about £70. Also ex does pays for some things like the odd coat etc
